SOAS University of London invites you to a morning of exploring China, Inner Asia, Japan and Korea at our central London campus.
SOAS is a remarkable institution. Uniquely combining language scholarship, disciplinary expertise and regional focus, it has the largest concentration in Europe of academic staff concerned with Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
SOAS is unique in the depth and breadth of its regional expertise. It is home to the largest collection of Japan specialists outside of Japan; the largest concentration of Korean specialists in Europe; and the SOAS China Institute, which brings together the largest community of China scholars working together under one roof in Europe.
In this half-day taster programme, you will learn about the languages and cultures of China, Japan and Korea during workshops and lectures delivered by renowned experts in the field. You will also have opportunities to ask questions and find out more about the study of China, Japan and Korea at SOAS.
This taster course is open to year 12 and 13 students or anyone considering starting their undergraduate studies in September 2018 or 2019.
