SOAS University of London invites you to an afternoon of exploring the study of History, Religions and Philosophies at our central London campus.
SOAS is a remarkable institution. Uniquely combining language scholarship, disciplinary expertise and regional focus, it has the largest concentration in Europe of academic staff concerned with Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
We are the only history department in the UK devoted to the study of Africa and Asia, and can therefore offer students an unrivalled breadth of courses, including the new BA Global Liberal Arts, which provides a sophisticated understanding of the world as a whole.
With our interdisciplinary approach, it is also possible to study a wider range of religious traditions and in more depth than any other programme in the field, anywhere in the world.
In this half-day taster programme, you will learn about some of the fascinating history and religions of Asia and Africa during workshops and lectures delivered by renowned experts in the field. You will also have opportunities to ask questions and find out more about the study of History, Religions and Philosophies at SOAS.
This taster course is open to year 12 and 13 students or anyone considering starting their undergraduate studies in September 2018 or 2019.
