Join this Performing Arts summer short course for a unique opportunity to learn from Guildhall’s experienced staff in a supportive environment in our central London location.
This course is aimed at young artists from a range of music and theatre backgrounds -musicians, composers, theatre makers, devisors, spoken word artists, beatboxers and poets. It’s intended for those who want to develop their performance skills and who are interested in collaborating with other artists to make new work.
It’s an exciting opportunity to meet other young people who are similarly creative and curious. You’ll get to work with some of the Guildhall School’s renowned tutors, plus exciting artists from the Barbican Centre. It’s the perfect progression from the Summer Arts Camp, and a great preparation for the BA in Performance & Creative Enterprise if you’re considering studying performing arts in higher education.
You’ll get to work intensively within each of the three core art forms of music, theatre and poetry, and you’ll also have the opportunity to create new multi-disciplinary work collaboratively. Over the four days, you’ll be exposed to exciting new ways of working, and will leave with loads of new ideas!
